Cluck Ya Poultry began in January 2025 after a dormant plant in Gardiner, Maine opened a rare door. The previous processor closed in 2024, and our ownership group stepped in to revive the facility with a clear goal: bring high-quality, air-chilled chicken back to the region.
From day one, we focused on building a dependable supply chain that honors the people who raise the birds and the customers who rely on them.
We use modern air-chilling technology because it protects flavor, improves food safety, and reduces water use. The result is clean, tender chicken that holds its quality from the processing floor to your kitchen.
That commitment is matched by our standards for animal welfare and halal integrity, so every order feels as good as it tastes.
Our leadership team spans poultry operations, farming, food service, finance, and administration. That mix of experience helps us solve real-world challenges while keeping the focus on quality and consistency.

We hired a team of roughly 38 people and began processing in May 2025. Since then, we’ve expanded our grower network and customer base across the Northeast.
